The French Agency for Biodiversity

The French Agency for Biodiversity (Agence Française pour la Biodiversité) carries out missions to support the implementation of public policies in the fields of knowledge, preservation, management and restoration of biodiversity of terrestrial, aquatic and marine environments. It supports public stake-holders and also works in close partnerships with actors from the socio-economic field. 

The Agence Française de Développement (AFD) Group funds, supports and accelerates the transition to a fairer and more sustainable world. Focusing on climate, biodiversity, peace, education, urban development, health and governance, our teams carry out more than 4,000 projects in France’s overseas departments and territories and another 115 countries. In this way, we contribute to the commitment of France and French people to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Since 2004, the Veolia Foundation has been supporting projects of general interest in the fields of humanitarian emergencies and development aid, support for employment and social ties, and the protection of the environment and biodiversity.

The French Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition

The French Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition is a French administration in charge of preparing and implementing the Government’s policy, especially in the fields of sustainable development, the environment and green technologies, in the field of energy and energy transition, and finally, climate and solidarity.
