Marine Biodiversity and Ocean Health Global (MBOH) Implementation

10:30 – 11:30 BRT | Ocean Pavilion, Blue Zone

Co-organised by the Sustainable Shipping Initiative

The Marine Biodiversity and Ocean Health (MBOH) Roadmap sets a global direction for reducing the shipping industry’s impacts on marine ecosystems while enabling a sustainable and resilient ocean economy. This event convenes leaders from governments, industry, science, finance, and civil society to discuss what it will take to accelerate action for ocean health across the global maritime system. Panellists will explore opportunities, challenges, and synergies across sectors, reflecting on how collaboration, data, innovation, and investment can drive progress. Rather than a technical showcase, this will be an open, forward-looking conversation on readiness, ambition, and shared responsibility, setting the stage for how the Toolkit and Roadmap can support real-world solutions in the years ahead.
