Cette année, la COP23 aura lieu à Bonn en Allemagne. Comme tous les ans, les décideurs politiques du monde entier se réuniront pour se mettre d’accord sur les solutions à appliquer contre le changement climatique. Pour la 3e année consécutive, la Plateforme Océan & Climat sera présente pour leur rappeler l’importance de la préservation de l’océan dans la régulation du climat.

- 9th November 9.30 am – 12.30 pm: OCIA’s Meeting with its members at the AMERON Hotel Königshof, in Bonn. An opportunity to welcome you to COP23, present the OCIA Report and discuss OCIA’s future strategy
- 10th November 11.15 am – 12.45 pm: OCIA’s side-event at the French Pavilion, Bonn Zone. Presentation of the work done by the Alliance and discussion about the place of ocean and climate action, within international dynamics, with a multi-stakeholder panel.
- 11th November 10.00 am – 11.30 am: The Oceans day will be a highlight for Ocean and Climate action during COP23. We will be presenting the OCIA Report “Measuring progress on ocean and climate initiatives” during the Opening Plenary Session
- 16th November (3.00 pm – 4.30 pm): OCIA will be participating to a high-level event organized by Fiji to launch an Oceans Pathway Partnership between parties, stakeholders and existing alliances to integrate and embed the Oceans into UNFCCC processes by 2020.
