La Plateforme Océan & Climat et The Varda Group organisent le 10 juillet 2024 (16h00 – 18h00 CEST / 10.00 AM – 12.00 PM EST) une réunion d’information sur la prochaine Conférence des Nations Unies sur l’Océan, avec la participation des pays co-hôtes, les gouvernements de la France et du Costa Rica. Cette réunion s’inscrit dans le cadre de leur mandat de mobilisation de la société civile en vue de UNOC 2025.
Cette réunion d’information a pour objectif de permettre à ses participants de recevoir des retours sur le High-Level Event on Ocean Action: Immersed in Change (7-8 juin, San José, Costa Rica) et sur la Conférence préparatoire pour UNOC 2025 (2 juillet, NYC, USA) où les thèmes des Ocean Action Panels et les éléments de la déclaration de la Conférence ont été discutés. Les dernières actualités des Special Events de UNOC 3, de la mobilisation de la société civile et de l’initiative Towards IPOS seront également partagées.
